OverviewThe purpose of this role is for an experienced Account Executive to work within a dynamic team setting. The role entails working on Commercial accounts with an Account Director and managing and developing an established Commercial book of business. This role is based in our Cork office on a hybrid basis.Reports To: Team Lead, Commercial LinesKey Internal Relationships: Regional Manager & Regional Business Manager, Account Directors, Account ExecutivesKey External Relationships: Customers, Insurance companies, Credit ManagementResponsibilitiesResponsible for client insurance requirements including inviting, securing and documenting renewal as well as mid-year alterations and claims handling in line with agreed protocols and proceduresProvide Account support to Account Director(s) on clientsEnsure agreed processes are followed in all mattersManage aged debt and premium collectionComply with all management audit requirementsCustomer Relationship ManagementBuild effective working relationships with all customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information and meeting commitmentsDeal with any issues that customers may have with queries, quotes etc.Customer ServicePortray a professional image to meet or exceed customer service standardsTake personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of accuracy and quality in your workDeal with requests and enquiries from customers, staff and management in a professional and timely mannerTeam CollaborationWork closely with designated Account DirectorWorking as part of a team environment to ensure all customer needs are metWorking together to ensure the team is on track to meet monthly and yearly targetsComplianceWork with the team manager and compliance teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standardsRequirementsMinimum CIP QualificationCandidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environmentStrong communication skills are essentialPossess a positive, can do attitude with the ability to adapt to and embrace changeAttention to detailPossess the ability to manage deadlines & prioritise workloadDemonstrate good technical & product knowledgeThe ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to unforeseen eventsA good degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource managementPerson SpecificationPrevious Open I experienceProficient in Office, including Outlook, Word & ExcelFriendly and assertive manner on the phoneAbility to develop relationships with insurers and clientsWillingness to learn & developStrong work ethic
