An established global custody and clearing business is seeking a Head of Compliance (PCF 12) to lead its Irish compliance function.
This firm sits at the core of Ireland’s broker and wealth infrastructure, supporting a significant market share. Operating an established custody and clearing model, the Irish entity is entering a new phase of growth - including the recent build-out of a local trading desk focused on equities and fixed income execution.
This is a high-profile, standalone PCF role with direct Board exposure and significant ongoing interaction with the Central Bank of Ireland.
The Opportunity
Reporting functionally to the EMEA Head of Compliance and locally to the CEO Ireland, the successful candidate will:
Hold PCF 12 (Head of Compliance) responsibility for the Irish regulated entityAct as the primary point of contact for the Central Bank of IrelandOwn and deliver the Compliance Monitoring Programme and Annual Compliance PlanLead Board and Committee reporting, including Risk & Compliance Committee engagementRepresent Compliance across governance committees and regulatory change initiativesProvide commercially pragmatic regulatory guidance to senior leadership
The role operates on a standalone basis in Dublin, working closely with:
A European Compliance team of eight providing advisory supportOther senior control function holders in DublinThe Irish CEO and executive leadership team
This is a visible leadership position within a firm classified as medium-to-high risk by virtue of its asset base and systemic importance in the Irish broker ecosystem.
Regulatory & Technical Scope
Strong experience required across:
MiFID / MiFIRMarket Abuse Regulation (MAR)Conduct of Business rulesSEAR frameworkInvestment firm regulatory requirementsMarkets / execution oversight (highly advantageous)
Candidates must either currently hold, or be capable of obtaining, PCF 12 approval from the Central Bank of Ireland.
