Automation Technician
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join a leading organisation in the healthcare sector.
The Automation Technician will be responsible for maintaining automation equipment for safe, efficient, and compliant production.
1. Maintain automation equipment for optimal performance by performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
3. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance with thorough documentation of all activities.
4. Implement process improvements that adhere to cGMP standards.
5. Assist with equipment commissioning, including testing and validation.
6. Manage spare parts inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize delays.
7. Cross-train technicians to enhance team capabilities and flexibility.
8. Travel for equipment support and training as required.
9. Uphold safety and quality standards, adhering to GMP guidelines.
10. Apply structured problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
11. Develop innovative technical solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
12. Ensure adherence to cGMP and change management principles.
13. Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
14. Exhibit safety consciousness and a commitment to upholding quality standards.
15. Possess MS Office proficiency and basic computer skills.
16. Hold a Level 6-8 HETAC qualification in Manufacturing Tech, Mechanical/Automation/Electronics/Mechatronics or equivalent.
17. Alternatively, qualified trades personnel with industrial experience are considered.
18. Automation/robotics experience in high-volume environments is highly desirable.
19. Previous experience in medical device manufacturing is an advantage.
20. Experience with pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, PLCs, servo motors, vision systems, ultrasonic welding, and machining is highly desirable.
21. Familiarity with FAT, SAT, IOPQ processes related to automated assembly is preferred.
