Overview of the Post
The post holder will work as part of our dedicated Adult Day Services team, providing social care support to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities, or mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. The post holder will support Service Owners with their needs, goals and activities in accordance with their individual preferences.

The Successful Candidate Will Have
Essential Criteria:
* Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.
* Eligible applicants will be those who, on the closing date for the competition:
* Hold professional registration, or be eligible for registration, on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU. See list of recognised Social Care qualifications at: CORU Approved Qualifications
* Have a Schedule 3 qualification. See list of recognised Schedule 3 qualifications at: Schedule 3 Qualifications
* Have a comparable qualification recognised by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
* Applicants who satisfy the conditions set out in Section 91 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 must submit proof of application for registration with the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU. The acceptable proof is correspondence from the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU confirming their application for registration as a Section 91 applicant was received by 30th November 2025.
* Provide proof of statutory registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
* Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the role.
* Annual Registration: On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
* Experience in contributing to the development of personal plans.
* Experience and knowledge of the role of a key worker.
* Experience of delivering personal care.
* Experience of assisting adults with medical needs/administering medication.
* Experience of engaging in professional supervision.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience of working with adults and families with physical/sensory/intellectual disabilities.
* Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience relevant to the role.
* Possess a full, clean driving licence.
