Senior Business Analyst - Payments acquiring/ authorisation - Contract - URGENTMy client, a leading a payments giant is looking to hire a strong Business Analyst from a payments acquiring and authorisation background.This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meticulously document requirements, empowering our technical teams to deliver innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities:Gather and document business requirements, identifying current business needs and recommending solutions.Create detailed data mapping from source to target systems, ensuring clarity and precision.Evaluate client requirements to determine their compatibility with existing functionalities, define user stories and detailed acceptance criteria for each user story.Analyse complex issues and translate them into actionable steps.Anticipate post-production implications of delivered requirements and assess impacts on stakeholders.Determine stakeholder involvement and assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions.Qualifications:Extensive experience in Agile methodologies, preferably SAFE, and using JIRA for drafting features and user stories with well-articulated acceptance criteria.5-6 years of business analysis experience, with a proven track record in understanding complex issues and translating them into actionable steps.Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance while rapidly adapting to changing priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including clients, developers, testers, and subject matter experts.Desired Skills:Familiarity with payment industry standards and hands-on experience with authorization and or clearing systems.SQL scripting capabilities, alongside knowledge of financial services or payments.Experience in payments and transaction processing, transaction pricing, and scheme fees.Experience in transaction workflow modelling and software development support.Proactive mindset and a strong eagerness to learn and adapt.
