Tax Senior Manager | Established Firm | Co Louth Our client is seeking to appoint a Tax Professional to join their growing cross-border tax practice based in Co Louth. The successful candidate will support a broad client base ranging from international groups to long-established local businesses. The role requires a technically strong tax professional with experience in either the Irish or UK system and a willingness to develop expertise across both. You will take ownership of compliance, support the development of advisory work, and play an active part in shaping a growing cross-border offering. This position provides strong autonomy, exposure to complex and international structures, and clear progression into broader advisory responsibilities. What you'll be doing Build strong relationships across a varied portfolio, acting as a trusted adviser to local businesses and international clients. Lead and manage tax compliance engagements across Irish and UK tax, maintaining high standards and identifying advisory opportunities. Work closely with directors and colleagues to deliver practical, commercially focused tax solutions. Support and mentor trainees and junior staff, contributing to internal tax capability. Manage your own workflow and deadlines, coordinating with teams across Dundalk, Newry and other offices. Stay up to date with Irish and UK tax developments, highlighting risks and opportunities for clients. Represent the firm in client meetings and contribute to the development of the cross-border tax practice. What we're looking for Proven tax experience with strong technical understanding of Irish and/or UK tax and interest in building cross-border expertise. Self-motivated and capable of managing your own portfolio and delivering end-to-end compliance. Commercial awareness with the ability to spot advisory opportunities. Strong technical tax knowledge and clear communication skills. Professionalism, resilience and sound judgement. Based within reach of Dundalk / Newry or willing to relocate. What you'll need Several years' post-qualification tax experience with solid grounding in either Irish or UK tax. Experience managing compliance portfolios and reviewing work to a high standard. A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, Chartered Tax) or equivalent experience. Confidence in managing client interactions independently.
