Your impact
We are seeking an Asset Management & Operations Director to support a major transport programme in Ireland (Dublin). This is a high‑impact leadership role where you will shape and drive programme‑wide asset management strategy, ensuring long‑term performance, resilience and value from critical infrastructure.
At Jacobs, our Programmes & Advisory team delivers strategic consulting across the full asset lifecycle—helping clients unlock value through innovation, data‑driven insights and practical solutions.
What you’ll do
Lead the delivery of strategic asset management services across programme, project and lifecycle stages
Champion the application of ISO 55000‑aligned practices, tailored to deliver real‑world value
Enhance client asset management capability through improvements in governance, processes, systems and data
Act as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and influencing strategic decision‑making
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high‑quality outcomes
Drive innovation through the use of digital tools, data and emerging technologies
Provide leadership and mentorship to teams, supporting capability growth and succession planning
Here’s what you’ll need
Extensive experience in Asset Management, with a proven track record of delivering value in complex environments
Professionally accredited or chartered (e.g. IAM, Engineering, or equivalent)
Strong background within asset‑intensive industries, ideally with rail or light‑rail exposure
Demonstrated leadership of teams leveraging data and digital solutions for decision‑making
Strategic thinker with a whole lifecycle perspective
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing at a senior level
Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and resolve challenges constructively
Established external network and ability to contribute to business development and thought leadership
