Job Description
A well-established and growing engineering consultancy based in Tipperary is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the region.
The Role
1. Design and analysis of structural systems (steel, concrete, timber, masonry)
2. Preparation of drawings, specifications, and technical reports
3. Liaising with architects, contractors, and clients
4. Site inspections and project coordination
5. Ensuring compliance with Irish building regulations and industry standards
Requirements
6. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
7. Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role
8. Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
9. Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes
10. Excellent communication and project management skills
11. Chartered status (or working towards) desirable
