About The Role
Key Responsibilities
Design: Carry out regular design reviews to ensure EICA design meets project requirements.
Site Supervision: Oversee the daily electrical activities on the project site, including coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and design drawings.
Project Management: Management of projects or elements of projects as required.
Installation and Testing: Ensure the efficient and accurate installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and low voltage installations.
Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning processes to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Liaise with Commissioning Manger and Commissioning Engineer(s) to plan and co-ordinate commissioning of the project.
Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures, conducting regular inspections to verify that electrical installations are carried out in accordance with regulations and industry best practices.
Address any non-conformities and implement corrective actions as required.
Health and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices on the project site.
Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
Promote a safety-first culture among the team.
Coordination and Collaboration: Liaise with other disciplines, project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
Maintain open lines of communication to ensure smooth project progression.
Escalate issues to Project Manager/Contracts Manager as needed.
Assist in site investigations, design reviews and project planning.
Sub-Contractors: Engage with sub-contractors where relevant, develop scope documents and manage Sub-Contactor performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project.
Assist in other elements of project delivery as required (civil, mechanical etc.).
About You
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Electrical or a Diploma plus suitable experience.
1 - 5 years of post-graduate experience.
Strong Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Excellent oral communication and written reporting skills.
Good people skills
Full clean Irish/EU driving licence
