About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Acquisition Manager to join our team. The role is ideal for a commercially minded marketer who understands the power of brand and performance working hand-in-hand to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading, aligning, and driving all activities that contribute to acquisition performance, with a strong focus on Direct Marketing, Demand Generation, Digital marketing, retail and other relevant channels. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing strategies to attract new customers while maximizing commercial opportunities and aligning closely with our propositions, sales channel teams and the rest of the marketing team.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

* Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive acquisition strategies that align with company objectives, market trends, and customer insights as well as reinforcing our brand positioning, tone of voice and customer promise. Own and optimise the full acquisition funnel ensuring a seamless and brand aligned customer journey.
* Creative content: Manage the development and roll-out of effective creative campaigns across digital, retail and direct marketing channels ensuring alignment with major ATL brand campaigns.
* Retail Marketing: Oversee marketing efforts across our retail and partner network – store visual identity and fit-out, roll-out of retail campaigns in-store, collaborating with internal retail sales teams and external franchise partners to optimise retail brand experience and sales.
* Direct Marketing: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of direct marketing campaigns across various channels including email, SMS, direct mail, etc. with a clear focus on new development penetration and conversion.
* Demand Generation: Drive demand generation initiatives through targeted campaigns, partnerships, events, and other relevant activities to generate leads and opportunities.
* Digital Marketing: - Oversee the digital marketing strategy and collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimize online presence, increase visibility, and drive paid and organic traffic through optimization of SEO, Search and Display
* Mix Performance and Incoming ARPU: Develop marketing tactics to upsell additional services or products at the point of sale to new customers, maximizing revenue opportunities across TV, Mobile and other services.
* Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor demand and campaign performance, conduct regular analysis, and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns, improve conversion rates, and achieve acquisition targets.
* Budget Management: Manage acquisition budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact and efficiency. Oversee the overall marketing budget and coordinate monthly reporting between marketing and the finance departments.
* Customer Journey Optimisation: Work on improvements to the customer journey from awareness to conversion (Lead to Order), identifying touchpoints and opportunities to optimize the acquisition process.
* Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with sales teams to align acquisition efforts with sales strategies and with the brand marketing team to ensure consistency across all touchpoints and campaigns.
* Testing and Experimentation: Champion a culture of experimentation, A/B testing and continuous improvement.
* Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), telecommunications regulations, and advertising standards.
* Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in acquisition marketing to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation.
* Management of 2 direct reports: Manage and mentor a team of performance marketers and/or external agencies to deliver against growth targets.

Skills & Expertise:

* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Post-graduate qualification preferred.
* Strong understanding of brand marketing principles and how they apply to acquisition strategies.
* Proven track record of success in marketing acquisition roles and in leading acquisition campaigns that are both data-driven and brand aligned.
* Strong experience in campaign management with focus on direct marketing, demand generation, SEO, and other relevant acquisition channels.
* Commercially astute with a deep understanding of marketing metrics, ROI analysis, and budget management.

* The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with the business while ascertaining the key impact/detail behind the issue/request
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment, be flexible and embrace change
