We are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Estimator to join our team and support operations within our Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contracting business. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your career in estimating across a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, data centres, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for mechanical services (process, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
· Review project plans and specifications to determine cost-effective solutions.
· Support subcontract and materials inquiries, reviewing quotations.
· Contribute to the preparation and presentation of commercial tenders.
· Attend site visits, client briefings, and internal handovers.
· Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth tendering and project delivery.
Key Requirements:
· Experience as an Estimator, Mechanical Engineer (in estimating), or as a Qualified Tradesperson in the sector.
· Strong knowledge of the construction tendering process.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
· Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and ability to manage tasks efficiently.
