The candidate will be motivated and hardworking with a strong commitment and emphasis on quality and standards while providing excellent customer care.Key responsibilities of this role are:To assist the management teamAssist Front desk and provide a knowlegeable insight to the Front Desk teamTo assist current front office manger with training and development.To work with Food and Beverage department and assist where necessary.To be involved with meetings and brief staff to ensure smooth communication between heads of departmentsTo have a thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant service and standards.To supervise staff & liaise with hotel kitchen and management to ensure smooth running of department.To be hands on & assist fellow workers as dictated by service and customer levels.Implement training and ongoing training in DepartmentsTo maintain standards and upskill staffTo be active and maintain management presence on the groud floor during service times.Be responsible and accountable for stock movements in the department.Maximise all up-selling opportunities within the department.Prepare necessary sales and statistics reports for weekly meetings etc.This is shift work and includes evenings and weekendsWe are situated in Dublin city just off O' Connell Street.
