Job Overview
Field Service Technician responsible for providing professional, efficient maintenance and repair of equipment to customers. Ensure customer satisfaction and service level agreements, identify business opportunities to maximize revenue, manage vehicle stock, and perform indoor and outdoor technical installations.
Responsibilities
Provide professional, efficient maintenance and repair services to customers, ensuring full satisfaction.
Deliver technical service including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in line with service level agreements.
Identify potential business and professional service opportunities to maximise revenue.
Manage and control vehicle stock to improve first‑time fix levels and minimise stock losses.
Perform indoor and outdoor technical installations.
Qualifications and Skills
Electrical/electronics knowledge and aptitude. Understanding of AC (230V) and DC (24V‑5V) circuits and use of a multimeter.
Strong troubleshooting/fault‑finding skills with a logical diagnostic approach.
PC skills for downloading, uploading software, connecting to devices, and using configuration apps.
Mechanical aptitude – understanding of mechanical principles and fault identification.
Excellent communication: convey technical data, understand instructions, read diagrams and schematics.
Good knowledge of Ricoh products.
Excellent interpersonal and customer handling skills.
Familiarity with Company Service procedures.
