The ideal candidate must have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of a busy bar and restaurant. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and training new team members.
The candidate must have previous experience in the bar/hotel industry, be passionate & enthusiastic about the role and enjoy serving and interacting with customers to enhance their experience. You will encourage the development of your team and have a can do attitude to continually assess the needs of the business.
A minimum 4 years experience managing a busy restaurant/bar essential.
Supported by a friendly and experienced team our ideal Manager would add to the warm and welcoming environment which our customers have come to expect in all our establishments.
Ability to manage 3 bars throughout a busy service ensuring they are setup correctly with glass, organization and float.
Potential for set days and set one weekend off per month rotation.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
* Stock ordering and stockroom control
* Ensure venue cleaning schedule completed weekly
* Train new hires on business practices
* Drive development of employees
* Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
* Ensure compliance with HAACP, Fire Safety and Welfare regulations
* Maintain a positive customer/venue atmosphere
* Ensure the business is serving alcohol responsibly, adhere to our in house rules and follow all company SOPs correctly
Qualifications
* Management and Customer Service experience Strong administrative skills
* Demonstrated ability to lead
* Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting Strong communications skills
* Minimum 4 years bar management experience
