Role: Project Manager/Site Manager (Construction/Civil)

Parker Stewart are working with a well known Public, Civil Engineering, Building & Private specialist contractor based in to hire a Project/Site Manager on a permanent basis. This role will be based onsite in Co. Kilkenny - located very closed to the Kilkenny/Tipperary/Laois borders.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-efficiency.
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure programme and performance targets are met.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing any issues that may impact delivery.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and project specifications.
* Oversee procurement schedules, budget control, and resource planning to maintain project profitability and compliance.
Experience & Qualifications Required
* Minimum 5 years of project management/site management experience within the construction industry
* Proven track record delivering projects in the following: public, civil engineering, building, or infrastructure
* Strong understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and contract administration
* Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering); desirable
