Since 2021, we have been leaders in infrastructure-scale heat pump solutions. Our goal is to help large energy users in commercial buildings, industrial processes, and other sectors reduce their carbon footprint. We’ve found success by blending products from three market-leading heat pump manufacturers, and our customers love the results.
Overview of role and level of responsibility
As Project Engineer you will work as part of the local Pure Renewables Commercial Ireland team performing engineering activities to support project development and our sales engineering team with the technical design and evaluation of commercial & industrial heat pump projects.
Specific tasks and deliverables
Prepare conceptual project layouts using relevant software e.g. CAD. Optimize layouts to maximize project value.
Analyse appropriate data to assess project resource requirements and projected values.
Estimate project annual energy production and build high level energy models.
Conduct site visits to assess site suitability, participate in stakeholder meetings prior to sales being agreed.
Conduct site visits post sale to ensure works are completed accurately and correctly inline with agreed design.
Support the preparation of project sales proposals.
Interface with the Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams leading up to and through project commercial operations.
Ensure that the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes are planned and implemented.
Awareness of OH&S, environmental reporting information and its impact upon the project.
Key skills and experiences
BSc in Engineering or related subject, 2:1 minimum.
Proven experience of working on construction projects, ideally within the renewable sector but not essential.
Ability to gather information and form conclusions and opinions on your own.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in fast evolving team and industry.

Salary range €45-65K
Location Drogheda, Co. Louth onsite with option to hybrid working
Hours 37.5 weekly, flexible start time
Reporting line Country Manager Ireland
Travel requirements Ireland regularly, UK 4 times annually and Europe ad hoc
