Electrical Engineering Opportunity
The role of Electrical Engineer is available in the energy industry. This permanent position involves working on site, with opportunities to contribute to projects in this sector.
Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary engineering company based in County Kildare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Reviewing and understanding schematics, GA plans and project specifications
* Design development, validating equipment and systems A trade background with a third-level qualification
* Ability to develop scopes, specification and carrying out LV design Reporting to the Project Manager on project progress, risks and issues
* Analysing supplier information for alignment with design specifications
* Proven record of coordinating on projects Knowledge of Trimble Pro design, Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project
* Excellent communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
* Ability to drive a large-scale project Ensure the Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same.
* Managing overall project delivery from inception to completion Daily and weekly progress reports on works completed Chair and attend regular meetings with the Client Identify issues and risks at the earliest opportunity and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate Schedule of workload, equipment and resources Liaise with the SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) on all project SHEQ matters Support Business Development, through tendering and business networking Ensure our core Customer Care principles are adhered to.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Experience working on multi-discipline projects
* A Degree in Engineering or Management plus minimum 5 years post-qualification experience within the industry would be advantageous
* Experience in LV electrical system and open to developing knowledge in MV/HV
* Excellent Commercial knowledge and understanding
* Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office packages, including diagnostic skills
* Ability to motivate and encourage others whilst taking the lead
