This role offers the chance to sell a wide range of DAF trucks and services, exceeding business plan targets and building long-term relationships with customers. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing regional strategies to market and sell DAF products and services, adapting to market conditions and product/service changes, and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong skills and knowledge in the Transport or Logistics Industries and experience in B2B sales at a senior level. You should also be able to manage costs and credit proactively to maximize profit growth and support customer events as needed.
The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive package including a company car, laptop, phone, contributory pension scheme, and employee discount scheme. Full training will also be provided from DAF Trucks Ireland and DAF N.V.
Minimum requirements include at least 2 years of sales experience in a commercial vehicle or related environment, a proven track record of meeting sales targets and developing customer relationships, and knowledge of the commercial vehicle market, trends, and competitors.
* Sell the complete range of DAF trucks, products, and services, exceeding regional business plan targets.
* Develop and implement regional strategies to market and sell DAF products and services.
* Adapt strategies based on market conditions and product/service changes.
* Ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
* Effectively manage and utilize the Customer Relationship Management system for prospecting and maintaining customer relationships.
* Identify and contact potential new DAF customers in the region.
* Provide timely and accurate quotations using group systems.
* Participate in sales meetings and business reviews to exchange ideas, customer leads, and information.
* Manage costs and credit proactively to maximize profit growth.
* Support customer events, including outside normal working hours as needed.
