Job Title: Chief Physicist for Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Non-ionising Radiation Services
Cork University Hospital is seeking an experienced Chief Physicist to lead its Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Non-ionising Radiation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and contributing to a large service covering the Cork-Kerry region in Ireland.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and experienced individual with excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be well placed to contribute to the wider medical physics profession in Ireland in the years ahead.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and contribute to a large service covering the Cork-Kerry region in Ireland.
* Lead and develop a team of medical physicists and scientists.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Contribute to the development of new services and technologies.
Requirements:
* PhD or equivalent experience in Medical Physics.
* Extensive experience in leading and managing teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
