This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 day pro rata per annum Overview of the Post: To work under the clinical supervision of a Psychologist in providing psychological support, including therapeutic support and formal assessments, to children and young people (aged 0 - 18 years) attending our service. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for full list The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: A Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) accredited qualification at not less than a Level 8 at 2.1 honours grade on the QQI qualifications framework in which psychology was a major subject. OR A Level 8 honours degree in another subject (2.1 or higher) together with an accredited conversion qualification at a minimum of (2.1) as conferring eligibility for graduate membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland Previous voluntary or paid experience working with children Desirable Criteria: Manual Handling training Children First Training Demonstrated evaluation and research skills Relevant training in areas specific to therapeutic interventions for children 0-18 years Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience Master's degree in a relevant area of Psychology If you believe you would fit the role then please submit your application today.
