Due to continued growth the company has a new opportunity for a Financial Accountant/Finance Manager to work across group companies.
Job Description
The overall function of the role is to manage the accounting matters of the main trading company.
The successful applicant will report directly to the the Senior Management / Directors of the company on a regular and ongoing basis.
The key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring adequate procedures and systems are in place to maintain proper books and records and afford adequate internal accounting controls.
* Preparing detailed and regular management accounts for the companies. These should comprise profit and loss account and balance sheet with comparatives for previous years and versus budgets with explanations for significant variances.
* Managing and directing staff within the accounting function
* Ensuring the timely preparation and submission of all necessary tax returns including VAT returns, PAYE/PRSI returns, RCT returns and Corporation Tax returns and any other statutory returns required by CSO or other authorities.
* Ensuring all company secretarial matters are up to date.
* Managing the payroll function for the organisation.
* Liaising with auditors in relation to the preparation and audit of annual statutory accounts and other related matters.
* Other related finance duties as required.
* Be willing and flexible to assist with other internal finance matters such as payments / receivables and occasionally assist with payroll.
