About the Role
Osborne is delighted to partner with our client in seeking a Payroll Specialist to join an established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and process improvement are highly valued. This is a hybrid role, with three days per week required in the office.
The Ideal Payroll Specialist
* IPASS qualified (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience, with strong knowledge of Irish tax, PRSI, and payroll legislation.
* Proven track record of managing payroll operations within an audit and compliance framework.
* Experience liaising with external payroll providers and cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Experience in pension administration and benefits management desirable.
Responsibilities
* Manage the preparation and processing of multiple payrolls via an outsourced provider, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare payroll sign-offs, reconciliations, and statutory returns (e.g., ROS, pension, PRSI, and levy submissions).
* Respond to payroll and benefit-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
* Administer employee benefit schemes including pensions, healthcare, and other reward programmes.
* Contribute to HR initiatives, including job architecture and compensation framework development.
* Assist with employee onboarding by providing payroll and benefits information during induction sessions.
