The Role
Location: Cork
Working Mode: Fully onsite – Monday to Friday
As a Sustainability Data Harmonisation Expert, you will play a critical role in standardising and integrating sustainability data from diverse sources (customers & 3rd-party suppliers) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and comparability. You will support the customer (Consumer electronics device maker) to create a unified and consistent view of diverse source data for effective reporting, performance evaluation, and informed decision-making regarding sustainability initiatives. You should possess solid technology knowledge and will be responsible for seamlessly connecting cloud-based applications with existing on-premises enterprise systems.
Your Responsibilities
* Identify all data needs and structure, including all variations across suppliers / supply chain, all outputs required from Customer to regulatory bodies (EU, country-specific, others), and customer’s internal reporting requirements.
* Harmonise data structure comprehensively across all variations.
* Conduct 3rd Party Assessments, including RFP creation and approval, response evaluation, shortlisting/demos, final selection, and purchase order (PO) processing.
* Design 3rd Party and Customer Solution Architecture, including final process and data flows, reporting scope, implementation plan, and solution deployment.
Key Skills
* Proficiency with integrating platforms.
* Understanding APIs and web services.
* Experience with message brokers.
* Familiarity with data formats.
* Knowledge of database systems.
* Experience with cloud platforms.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work closely with stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and architects, to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
