RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring an Staff Nurse for a Nursing home in Co Galway, Ireland.
Responsibilities Ensure all residents are treated with dignity, privacy, and respect, recognising and supporting their individuality.
Understand and implement the Named Nurse model, ensuring all related documentation is accurately maintained.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and visitors, providing support and compassion at all times, particularly during bereavement.
Ensure full compliance with Healthcare policies and procedures across the team.
Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records in line with legislation and Healthcare standards.
Ensure strict adherence to policies governing the control, administration, and safe custody of medicines.
Demonstrate knowledge of HIQA standards and actively participate in the inspection process.
Ensure that all resident admissions are completed correctly, with all required documentation fully and accurately prepared.
Liaise with healthcare professionals to support safe and coordinated discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care for each resident.
Requirements First-level nursing registration.
Registered on the NMBI live register.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to make sound and effective decisions.
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and work independently.
Capable of working well within a team and fostering a positive team environment.
