Joining IPD Construction means becoming part of this ambitious growth story, with long-term career prospects in a dynamic, expanding organisation.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Accounts Manager to handle transactional accounting, reconciliations, and finance administration. You will work alongside the finance director, CEO, and on-site teams. Construction industry experience is preferred, and candidates should be detail-oriented, organised, and eager to grow their accounting skills in this field.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.Prepare and post supplier invoices and staff expenses.Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, creditor and debtor reconciliations.Month-end close activities, including journals, prepayments and accruals.Perform RCT registration and reconciliation for sub-contractors.Preparation, submission and payment of weekly and monthly payroll.Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documentation.Support the preparation of management reports and financial statements.Prepare VAT, RCT and PAYE returns and other regulatory or compliance reporting as required.Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice or payment queries.Support audits and internal controls by providing documentation and explanations when required.Skills & Experience3 – 4 years' experience in an accounts or finance role.Experience working in construction industry is advantageous.Payroll experience with Sage Payroll.Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP software is essential, Sage 50 preferrable.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities.Studying or interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary: €45,000 - €50,000 DOEPension under MyFutureFundHybrid working model (flexible mix of office and remote days)22 Days Annual LeaveNo Agencies pleaseCV with cover letter to Legal right to work in Ireland as no sponsorship will be offered.Job Type: Full-timePay: €45,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork from homeApplication question(s):How many years payroll experience?Experience:Accounting: 3 years (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Co Limerick, CO.
