As Principal Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, leading process improvements, and supporting the integration of new products and technologies into manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support manufacturing operations to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality.Manage, mentor, and develop team members, including performance reviews and training.Drive compliance with industry regulations and internal quality systems.Develop and execute staffing, resource, and budget plans for the department.Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, quality, and external stakeholders.Provide leadership in validation activities, including protocol/report writing and execution oversight.Monitor and analyse production metrics, implementing improvements where needed.Contribute to policy and procedure development within the manufacturing function.Requirements:Level 7 qualification (or higher) in Engineering or related discipline.6+ years' relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering within a regulated industry.Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams or projects.Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of regulatory requirements (., FDA, ISO, BSI) and quality systems.Ability to work independently under minimal supervision while delivering on departmental goals.
