The area drives investment and the Sustainability and Innovation agenda for the organisation and leads on Environmental Regulation and Compliance activities, ensuring the quality of water and wastewater is continuously monitored. The Asset Management function is responsible for strategic planning, prioritisation, and development of Uisce Éireann's Capital Works pipeline. The function plays a key role in promoting collaboration and co-ordination of activities across the three asset functions as well as providing environmental assessment and management expertise across Uisce ÉireannThe Chief Technical Advisory team support the business in achieving technical excellence, developing & implementing policy and realising its Asset Management capabilities. The team develop applications, provide technical expertise across the business and coordinate technician's activities Reporting to the Asset Management Development Technical Manager, the AMS Analyst will form part of a team implementing Uisce Éireann's requirements for Asset Management System. This role will focus on the implementation and maintenance of the Asset Management system (ISO The AMS Analyst will provide assistance in the development of asset management policies and procedures. The role holder will also liaise with business representatives to define requirements for the further development of Asset Management systems within Uisce Éireann.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Perform the day to day business support activities for the Asset Management System Assist to define, implement and maintain an appropriate governance model for the use of the systemsProactively develop and support a culture of asset management policy and practice across the organisation essential for the successful deployment of an asset management system Support the change management and training required to ensure widespread adoption of the AMS systems by all staffDevelop and manage the implementation of the asset management component of the documentation framework, people and groups framework and associated records Engage with management governance groups across the business and develop effective working relationships to ensure records management practices comply with relevant legislation and ISO 55001 requirements and aligns with the Uisce Éireann integrated management systemLiaise with business unit stakeholders in order to determine requirements for Asset Management system improvement and/or requirements for new systems Raise risks and issues as appropriate to the Asset Management Development ManagerGeneral Duties and Responsibilities Collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ businessResponsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standardsSupport the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectivesConducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with Uisce Éireann's Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UÉ business information and delivery of critical services, in accordance with the NIS Directive and any other relevant cybersecurity regulationOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills and Experience:Experience in the management of assets across their whole lifecycle, development and implementation of a Management System, in particular an ISO55000 compliant Asset Management System, is desirable. Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirableA minimum of 3 years' experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable and or relevant experienceExperience in document development, governance frameworks, processes.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc). Proficiency in Sharepoint, PowerBI, etc an advantage.Experience in independently resolving customer challenges while maintaining high service standards.Ability to develop effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and ability to look for and listen to diverse perspectives.Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and make improvement decisions that benefit the team/communities.Ability to proactively identify new areas of improvement and implement new ways to do things.Experience in taking ownership of safety responsibilities and contributing to continuous improvement initiativesThe closing date for receipt of applications for this vacancy is 27/01/2026.Please note that applications submitted after this closing date will not be accepted.*Please be advised that if successful you will be placed on the salary range based on your skills and experience.
