Job DescriptionThis QC Bioassay Analyst II role will include quality control testing and analytical method transfers to support our GMP operationsSpecific Job ResponsibilitiesProficiently execute Bioassay techniques such as ELISA, Receptor Binding and Cell-based assaysParticipation in analytical method transfers/ method validationsDevelop subject matter expertise on assigned analytical techniquesReview data and results of testing to ensure compliance to appropriate specifications and protocolsDemonstrate skills in data analysis and ability to critically evaluate data qualityParticipate in Bioassay investigations/troubleshooting and technical projects within the functionDeliver new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives to meet business requirementsExecute protocols and reportsRevise, and implement procedures that comply with appropriate regulatory requirementsExecute analysis efficiently, consistently, and with high qualityInterface with key cross functional stakeholders locally and across the Gilead networkWork on non-routine projects and assignmentsSkills & ExpertiseExperience with analytical techniques such as Cell Culture, ELISA, Receptor Binding and Cell-based assays is requiredExperience in method validation/ method transfers is an advantageWorking knowledge of GMPs, GLPs, and regulatory requirements for Biologics testingAdvanced skills in proper aseptic techniques and behavioursKnowledge of software such as Softmax Pro, LIMSExcellent communication skills (both verbal and technicalExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people from a wide range of skill levels and experienceAbility to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external partnersPrevious Industry experience is requiredEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO)It is the policy of Gilead Sciences, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively "Gilead" or the "Company") to recruit select and employ the most qualified persons available for positions throughout the Company.
