ProSource Group are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Data Centres) on behalf of a leading Irish multidisciplinary consultancy.
This role will be based in Dublin.
Salary:€90k-€95k + package.

Key Responsibilities Lead the mechanical design and delivery of complex building services projects within the science, technology, and industrial sectors.
Develop and implement innovative, sustainable solutions aligned with net-zero carbon targets, including embodied carbon analysis and circular economy principles.
Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams including architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and team development.
Oversee contractor engagement and ensure successful delivery, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
About You Were looking for an experienced and driven professional who is passionate about sustainable engineering and technically advanced building services solutions.
Required Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in mechanical design, primarily within a consultancy environment.
Proven experience delivering data centre design projects.
Familiarity with the Irish or UK construction and engineering markets.
Desirable Attributes: Chartered Engineer (or working towards chartership), with a track record of delivering innovative mechanical engineering solutions.
Solid understanding of Irish building regulations, including BCAR.
Experience liaising with clients directly, leading teams, managing contractors and overseeing on-site works, including commissioning processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
