Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Cork for a Mercedes-Benz Technician. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Responsibilities include conducting vehicle inspections, identifying and troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs with precision, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining documentation of the work conducted. Collaboration with the service advisory team to ensure customer satisfaction is key.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electronic systems in vehicles.
* Experience with Mercedes-Benz vehicles or similar automotive systems and understanding of manufacturer-specific repair and service procedures.
* Demonstrated ability in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and software common in automotive repair.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality service and safety.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
* Formal qualification as a vehicle technician (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or ASE Certification) and possession of a valid driver's license.
* Prior work experience in an automotive repair role, preferably with Mercedes-Benz or similar brands is essential.
* Authorisation to work in Ireland
* Ability to relocate or commute
