Associate Director – Financial Due Diligence
The Associate Director role focuses on leading financial due diligence engagements, managing client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the due diligence offering within Deal Advisory.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial due diligence engagements for corporate, private equity and lender clients across a broad range of sectors and transaction contexts.
Oversee key workstreams including earnings analysis, working capital assessments, cash flow review, net debt and debt‑like analysis, and the identification of transaction risks and value drivers.
Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout engagements, ensuring issues are communicated clearly, timelines are met and deliverables are produced to a high standard.
Present findings and commercial insights to clients, helping them understand key financial matters, deal considerations and negotiation implications.
Support directors and partners in developing client relationships, preparing proposals and converting new opportunities into mandates.
Provide leadership, coaching and oversight to managers and junior team members, contributing to team development and high‑quality project execution.
Desired Qualifications
Strong experience in a transaction services financial due diligence environment, with a track record of leading engagements and managing clients.
Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent.
Strong commercial judgement and an ability to translate financial analysis into clear, practical client advice.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and support the development of a growing team.
