MEICA Project Engineer Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEICA Project Engineer to spearhead key water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with significant experience in project engineering roles.
The role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from design and procurement through to administration and handover stages. Key responsibilities include:
* Development of preliminary designs and technical specifications
* Preparation of detailed design drawings and technical reports
* Evaluation of client requirements and liaison with clients and stakeholders
* Provision of support to project managers and teams
* Liaison with suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure full specification compliance
* Preparation of technical submissions and reports for client approval
* Generation of contract programmes of work and progress reports
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with knowledge and experience of the water and wastewater industry. Strong technical, delivery, and commercial skills are essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A working knowledge of AutoCAD and plant design, construction, and commissioning is also required.
