We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our culinary team as a Kitchen Operations Manager. This key role will play a crucial part in supporting the kitchen leadership team, driving smooth operations, and ensuring exceptional food quality.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Key responsibilities include:
1. Food Preparation and Cooking:
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items that meet our high standards of quality and consistency.
* Assist in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to minimize waste.
2. Kitchen Management:
* Support the Executive Head Chef and Executive Sous Chef in managing the kitchen staff, ensuring seamless operations.
* Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and effective teamwork.
3. Quality Control:
* Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards.
* Implement and maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
