Job Summary
The IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing education and technical support to internal and external users.
Essential Functions
1. Provide technical support to users by diagnosing and correcting problems.
2. Assist with development of operations procedures and training programs.
3. Organize and maintain various IT files, hardware, and software inventory.
4. Assist in the planning and deployment of hardware and software for the office.
5. Research new technology, perform vendor analysis, and conduct RFP processes.
6. Involved in the training of others on an ongoing or project-by-project basis.
7. Reproduce and escalate hardware and software issues to technical experts.
8. Support other Harmonic business areas with their technological needs.
9. Help organize internal and external client presentations.
10. Manage and ensure follow-up of technical support issues across clients.

Job Qualifications
* A college or university graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
* 2+ years of experience in IT service desk operations and administering IT systems and cloud environments (Microsoft 365 and Azure) in an enterprise setting.
* Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred).
* Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Support Engineer Specialty (preferred).
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
* Strong experience in providing end-user support.
* Experience managing modern desktop environments leveraging Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop.
* Outstanding working knowledge of Windows OS and applications.
* Expertise with help desk systems.
* Knowledge of computer applications and operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS.
* Knowledge of hardware and peripheral troubleshooting and repair procedures.
* Strong knowledge of Cerberus FTP administration.
* Strong knowledge of Azure, Office365, Windows Defender, and Microsoft Endpoint Management.
* Robust experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting.
* Experience operating in a tightly regulated environment with SOC2 audits.
