We're looking for a skilled Plant & Tool Service Technician to join a busy hire department in Tralee, Co.
Kerry - a fantastic location with a strong and loyal customer base.
Role Overview
Working alongside the Hire Department Manager, you'll be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of a wide and varied fleet of plant, tool, and electrical equipment.
You'll be the engine room of the hire operation — ensuring every piece of kit leaves in top condition and every customer gets the service they deserve.

Permanent, Full-Time (39 hrs/week)
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday (Saturday roster may apply)
What You'll Be Doing
Small Plant Maintenance & Service: Cement Mixers, Concrete Power Floats, Plate Compactors, Poker Vibrators
Electrical & Engine Tools maintenance
PAT testing and fleet readiness inspections
Maintaining a safe, well-organised workshop environment
Supporting customer service and conducting equipment demonstrations
Ensuring all health & safety standards are met
Assisting with day-to-day hire department operations

Proven experience in the plant and tool hire industry
Strong mechanical/fitter skills across a variety of plant and equipment types
A safety-first mindset and commitment to high work standards
Good interpersonal skills and a customer-friendly approach
