About The Role
As Employee Relations Manager, you’ll join our European ER Centre of Expertise, acting as a trusted advisor for ER across Ireland Retail Stores and the UK Distribution Sites as well as the Home Office. You’ll provide commercial ER support to senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and the HR Service Centre, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and alignment with our company culture and values. This is a high‑profile role where you’ll influence decision‑making on complex ER issues, handle risk, and lead on strategic projects. You’ll also play a key role in tribunal case management, policy development, and compliance reporting.
What You’ll Do
Deliver ER advice across Ireland Stores and UK Distribution & Head Office functions.
Act as escalation point for high‑risk, complex ER cases (e.g., dismissal, discrimination, settlement negotiations).
Partner with HRBPs on strategic change projects such as restructures and redundancies.
Handle tribunal claims and liaise with internal/external legal teams.
Ensure compliance with ROI & UK legislation and support immigration/right‑to‑work queries.
Lead ER‑related projects and contribute to policy reviews and implementation.
What We’re Looking For
Strong ER expertise with in‑depth knowledge of Irish employment law and proven understanding of UK legislation.
Experience in a senior advisory role, ideally within retail or a multi‑site environment.
Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.
Based in ROI with the ability to work independently, prioritise, and travel across ROI and UK as needed.
CIPD qualified or equivalent (desirable).
Why Join Us?
This is an exciting chance to create a tangible impact in a varied, international business. You’ll work on complex, strategic ER matters, collaborate with senior partners, and help shape the future of our ER approach across Retail, Distribution and Home Office. As proud as we are of our past success, it’s our future that excites us most. We strive to provide opportunities for growth, recognition and a competitive salary and benefits package.
We consider all applicants for employment without regard to age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnerships, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and/or sexual orientation.
