Accounting Technician Job Opportunity
The Financial Support Services Unit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to schools on financial controls, procedures, cash flow, and budget preparation.
* Provide support and training on Excel-based packages, Sage 50, and Bright Accounts
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and support materials
* Offer online and remote access support and training to individuals and groups
* Fully qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work remotely and as part of a team
This is a permanent role with a probation period of 6 months. The successful candidate must have a high level of knowledge of RCT and VAT procedures, excellent MS Office and CRM skills, and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential data.
