Here at The Noel Gropu we are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our Client kitchen team. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations during daytime hours, including menu planning, food preparation, staff management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement innovative and appealing menus that align with the Hotel's concept and customer preferences.
* Regularly update and refresh menu items to incorporate seasonal ingredients and trends.
* Ensure a balance of classic café offerings and creative new dishes.
* Supervise and participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and are consistent in taste, appearance, and portion size.
* Maintain efficiency and productivity in the kitchen to meet service timelines.
* Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to café policies and procedures.
* Schedule and coordinate the kitchen team to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and cost control.
* Implement and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the kitchen.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and address any customer feedback or concerns promptly.
* Engage with customers occasionally to gather feedback and build rapport.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in Hotel, or similar establishment.
* Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food trends, and nutrition.
* Excellent leadership and management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools.
