Job Summary

Core Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with production teams on projects focused on enhancing line performance.
* Assist in commissioning new equipment and ensuring its seamless integration into operations.
* Develop and implement training programs for technicians and operators on existing and new machinery, emphasizing knowledge transfer and operational efficiency.
* Coordinate closely with engineering stores to maintain an adequate stock of machine spare parts, minimizing downtime and optimizing inventory management.
Essential Skills:
* Proven experience as a maintenance technician, with at least two years of hands-on involvement in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Effective fault-finding skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve downtime issues.
* Strong technical expertise in core processing equipment, enabling efficient maintenance and repair activities.
* Ability to mentor junior staff and effectively manage contractor personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements:
* A minimum of two years' experience working as a maintenance technician, with evidence of proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving downtime issues.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with production teams, engineering departments, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
* Technical certificate or diploma in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering).
* Valid certifications in areas relevant to the job (e.g., first aid, safety protocols).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
