Your new company A not-for-profit organisation based in Dublin City Centre is seeking an HR Advisor to join their HR team on a permanent basis.
This role requires some travel, and operates a hybrid model.
Your new role The HR Advisors role will be to provide clear advice and guidance to line managers and employees across key HR areas, including employee relations, learning and development, organisational design, and workforce planning.
Its purpose is to maximise employee effectiveness and capability, ensuring individuals and teams contribute fully to achieving organisational objectives in alignment with the overall Mission.
Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on the effective management of employee relations matters, including performance management, absence management, and capability issues, with a focus on identifying issues early, recommending practical solutions, and minimising organisational risk.
Support managers with workforce planning activities, including recruitment and talent management, to ensure staffing needs are met, and organisational objectives are delivered effectively.
Advise and guide managers on the effective design of teams and organisational structures to support business delivery and operational effectiveness.
Enable informed decision-making by delivering relevant, accurate, and insightful reporting on key HR metrics, alongside analysis of trends and risks.
Work collaboratively with specialist teams such as Recruitment, HR Systems, Reward, and Payroll to deliver integrated, end-to-end HR solutions across the organisation.
Support the development, implementation, and embedding of HR policies and practices through approaches such as coaching and training managers and employees, and creating practical guidance, tools, and resources.
Contribute to, and where appropriate lead, HR projects aimed at improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of HR processes and services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice, ensuring advice and support reflect current legal and professional standards.
Act as deputy for the HR Business Partner in their absence and undertake additional duties as required to ensure the effective operation of the HR function.
What you'll need to succeed You will be a Chartered CIPD member qualified to Level 7 or above, with extensive experience delivering HR support in large, complex organisations.
You will bring strong expertise in HR practice and ROI/NI employment law, including WRC, Employment Tribunal, TUPE, redundancy, and trade union engagement.
You will be highly experienced in advising and coaching managers on complex HR issues, with excellent organisational, analytical, and prioritisation skills.
You will be confident using HR data and Microsoft Office tools to provide clear, high-quality advice and customer-focused support in demanding environments.
What you'll get in return You will receive a salary package of €50,000 - €60,000 dependent on experience.
You will avail of a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
