The Role:
* MES Implementation Engineer
* Location: Kilkenny

Role Brief:
Working with a major NNIT Ireland client in the Pharma sector, you will be responsible for working with a range of manufacturing systems in a pharma manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on MES. Configuration and validation of these systems will be key aspects of the role.
Core Responsibilities:
* Configuration, validation, and management of manufacturing environment computerized systems.
* Support configuration and validation of MES.
* Work on systems-related projects to support overall manufacturing systems project requirements.
* Create and review validation documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and divisional policies.
* Responsible for creating Software Compliance assessments such as 21 CFR Part 11 and Data Integrity.
* Present and communicate status, report metrics, identify trends, potential issues, and improvement initiatives.
Skills Brief:
* Experience working with pharma manufacturing systems and large-scale applications.
* Experience in configuration and validation of manufacturing systems software.
* Experience with MES system implementation.
* Experience working in pharma manufacturing projects with adherence to timelines and agile methodology.
* Understanding of cGMP, 21 CFR 11, and Annex 11.
* Knowledge of GAMP principles, systems implementation, and validation concepts.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong technical writing skills.
Person Brief:
* Degree at Level 8 in Computer Science, IT, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
* 3+ years’ experience in a relevant role with pharma or life sciences manufacturing software systems.
* Excellent collaboration, communication, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
* Logical thinking and proactive approach.
* Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Daily onsite presence is essential; some remote work may be available, but daily commuting to the site is required.
