About the job
As a Trust and Safety Analyst at Google, you are pivotal in protecting our users and platforms by fighting web abuse and fraud across products like Google Ads, YouTube, Search, and Maps.
In this role, you will operate with significant independence, driving critical initiatives and contributing to the development and enforcement of trust and safety policies and systems. You will be a key contributor to maintaining a safe and trusted online environment.
At Google we work hard to earn our users’ trust every day. Trust & Safety is Google’s team of abuse fighting and user trust experts working daily to make the internet a safer place. We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.
Responsibilities

Identify, scope, and lead projects that enhance trust and safety operations, even when they require cross-functional coordination and local optimization efforts.
Develop, implement, and enforce scalable policies to combat abuse, fraud, and other harms across various Google products and multiple geographies.
Conduct in-depth investigations and perform root cause analysis on complex policy gaps, enforcement misses, and emerging abuse trends. Propose and implement data-driven corrective actions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Translate policy intent into practical, scalable enforcement strategies and optimize implementation processes. Arbitrate nuanced policy decisions, especially in grey areas. Manage and resolve high-profile escalations from internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and well-reasoned explanations of policy and enforcement actions.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Public Policy, and other Trust and Safety teams.
