Catalyx is seeking a Packaging Technician to join our team and work on our customer site in Ringaskiddy. This role will operate on a weekly alternating days & evenings shift. (Monday - Friday)

The Role:

Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a Packaging Operations team to complete the packaging of finished product for onward distribution.
* Perform detailed batch record documentation that is accurate, complete, legible and fully compliant with cGMP requirements.
* Monitor packaging line performance, identify issues in real time, and escalate to the Packaging Equipment Technician as required.
* Provide hands-on support to the Packaging Equipment Technician during line interventions, troubleshooting and restart activities.
* Carry out system transactions in Oracle in line with site procedures.
* Ensure the packaging area remains inspection-ready at all times.
* Participate in internal, client and regulatory inspections as required.
* Assist in the preparation, review and revision of packaging documentation, including batch records and standard operating procedures.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and actively promote safe working practices within the Packaging Operations team.
* Proactively support continuous improvement activities and contribute to initiatives within the Packaging Suite.
* Lead and support the investigation, documentation and resolution of packaging-related deviations and process investigations.
* Maintain a complete and compliant personal training record at all times.
* Execute all packaging activities in strict accordance with SOPs, cGMP regulations and site quality standards.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a GMP manufacturing or packaging environment, ideally within pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals or medical devices.
* Strong understanding of cGMP requirements and good documentation practices.
* Experience working on automated or semi-automated packaging lines is desirable.
* Familiarity with electronic systems such as Oracle, SAP or similar manufacturing systems is an advantage.
* Proven ability to identify issues, follow escalation pathways and work cross-functionally to resolve problems.
* High level of attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Willingness to support shift work or flexible schedules, where required by operations.
* Commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
