We are seeking a highly skilled Practice Nurse to join our team in County Tipperary.
The ideal candidate will provide top-notch nursing care in a general practice environment, perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management, and collaborate closely with GPs in delivering patient-centered care.
* Registered with the NMBI as a General Nurse
* A minimum of 12 years of experience as a practice nurse is required
* Proficient in phlebotomy, immunizations, wound care, chronic disease management, ECGs, and ear syringing
Key Responsibilities:
Nursing Care Delivery: Provide high-standard nursing care to patients in a general practice setting, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management.
Medical Procedures: Perform various medical procedures, including phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management, under the guidance of GPs.
Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with GPs, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practices, treatments, and technologies to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Education and Qualifications: Registered with the NMBI as a General Nurse, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
Experience and Skills: A minimum of 12 years of experience as a practice nurse, with proficiency in phlebotomy, immunizations, wound care, chronic disease management, ECGs, and ear syringing.
Personal Qualities: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
