Job Title: Principal HV Cable System Design Professional
This encompasses high voltage AIS and GIS substations, transmission system assets, HVDC interconnectors, and energy storage systems.
* Developing HV/EHV cabling system specifications, concept/design, design review, estimation, site supervision, and support as required.
* Performing technical calculations including cable size, rating calculations, thermal/magnetic field and electromagnetic field calculations, sheath-induced voltage calculations, and others.
Collaborating with the team to develop temporary works design schemes. Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, designers, and other stakeholders.
Ensuring that inspection and test plans are completed as per project management plan/specifications, including dimension accuracy and quality checks.

Qualifications: A degree in Electrical Power Engineering is essential. Previous experience in consultancy, contractor, or utility roles within the energy sector is advantageous.
Experience: Extensive experience in cable-related roles supporting FEED design and/or detailed design is necessary. Proficiency in CYMCAP for cable system design is desirable.
