Esker Ri Nursing Home, part of the Evergreen Care Group, is currently inviting applications from compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team across a range of roles and departments.

We offer a variety of flexible working arrangements, including Full-Time and Part-Time positions, as well as Permanent and Fixed-Term contracts, to suit your lifestyle and career goals.

Evergreen Care is a healthcare organisation providing long- and short-term residential care and services. Although our primary focus is older person care, we also cater to other people who are in need of residential care. In December 2020, Evergreen Care welcomed a new management structure and currently operates nine Nursing Homes nationwide. We offer a fresh perspective in nursing home care in the heart of Ireland communities. Each of our homes focus on creating a kind, caring and happy community for every resident in our care

About The Role

Role & Responsibilities:

* Provide Quality Care and Support
* Ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all residents.
* Treat residents with respect, compassion, and empathy at all times.
* Maintain Resident Confidentiality
* Protect residents' personal and medical information in accordance with privacy laws and facility policies (e.g., HIPAA).
* Promote a Safe and Clean Environment
* Follow hygiene, infection control, and safety procedures.
* Report hazards, accidents, or unsafe conditions promptly.
* Communicate Effectively
* Maintain open and respectful communication with residents, families, coworkers, and supervisors.
* Report changes in resident condition or concerns in a timely manner.
* Work as Part of a Team
* Collaborate with colleagues to provide coordinated and consistent care.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning as needed.
* Follow Facility Policies and Procedures
* Adhere to all organizational policies, protocols, and standards of conduct.
* Stay informed of updates to procedures and regulations.
* Demonstrate Professionalism
* Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
* Maintain professional boundaries and appearance.
* Participate in Training and Development
* Attend required training sessions, in-services, and continuing education.
* Stay current with best practices and legal requirements related to elder care.
* Support Residents' Rights and Choices
* Respect residents' autonomy, cultural values, and individual preferences.
* Encourage independence while providing appropriate assistance.
* Contribute to a Positive Facility Culture

* Foster a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for residents, families, and staff.

* Help create a home-like atmosphere that promotes quality of life.

* Experience working in Health/Social Care environment desirable.
