The appointed candidate will complement the existing staff in the wider Departmental and Engineering School areas of Energy Generation Management and Control, Propulsion, Circuits and Systems.Increasingly the research groups in the Department and the School are interdisciplinary. In this recruitment call we are interested in growing our teams in Electrification and Electrical Power Management and Control (including application areas e.g. renewable integration, grid-interfaced control systems for solar and wind, high-efficiency power conversion, battery management, advanced power electronics, high efficiency and small scale electrical machines, and system optimisation).
