Project Lead for Software Implementation
This position involves leading a software implementation project as a contract basis. The role is based in Cork and requires strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and define functional/non-functional specifications.
- Collaborate with consultants to translate business needs into technical specifications, workflows, data mappings, and integrations.
- Plan and manage integrations with existing systems (CRM, ERP, policy admin, finance). Oversee data migration, cleansing, and validation.
- Act as the primary point of contact, run workshops, deliver updates, and manage UAT and training.
- Develop test plans, manage UAT, track issues, and ensure defects are resolved.
- Identify operational impacts, create training materials, deliver training, and support post-launch hypercare.
- Maintain clear project documentation, process flows, and status reports. Provide lessons learned and closure reports.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the software implementation space.
- Hands-on experience with integrations.
- Skilled in business process modeling.
- Experienced in requirements gathering.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficient in project tools.
- Proven ability to manage timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Understanding of insurance/finance systems.
- SQL and data modeling skills are beneficial.
