**Payroll Expert Wanted**
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Payroll Officer to join our team as a subject matter expert in UK Payroll. This role involves all aspects of employment taxation, regulatory and statutory reporting.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide guidance on payroll processing for the UK, ensuring maintenance of technical knowledge and advisory role on legislative and regulatory changes that impact UK.
2. Support and train the UK payroll hub team on UK applicable payroll impacting updates related to HMRC, Regulatory or Legislative changes.
3. Oversee outsourced payroll vendor activities in relation to statutory taxation and non-statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with local revenue and governmental agencies.
4. Deliver payroll for the full population in the United Kingdom and collaborate with Finance and supporting COE's as needed.
5. Execute related HR administration activity to support other CoE's while maintaining strong working relationships.
Key Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in UK Payroll operations with a strong understanding of best practice around controls, regulations, tax compliance, and working with outsourced providers.
* Excellent knowledge of UK Labor law, with special focus on Personal Income Tax and Social Security regulations.
* Very good Excel skills and analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong organizational and communication skills and working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems required.
