Title: Mechanical Quantity Surveyor

Overview
Based out of our permanent Manufacturing Facility in Co. Carlow (Jones Engineering Manufacturing Ltd), due to our continued expansion we are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join and play a pivotal role within our in‑house multidiscipline design team.
Jones Engineering Manufacturing is a provider of bespoke modular solutions (packaged plant rooms, skids and conveyances) to the Life Sciences, Data Centre and Energy industries.
Job Description
Due to continued expansion, Jones Engineering require a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor for projects based in Carlow, Ireland.
Skills / Requirements
Relevant third level qualification essential – Quantity Surveying / Engineering.
Experience working within the modular build sector would be advantageous.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience post qualification in a Mechanical contracting environment.
Strong technical ability and understanding Mechanical services essential.
Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi‑functional team.
Excellent Analytical & IT Skills essential.
Excellent communication and organization skills essential
Experience in management of suppliers and sub‑contractors.
Salary will be in line with qualifications and experience.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict deadlines is essential.
Good understanding of construction contracts & methods of measurement.
Facility to gain chartership status available in‑house.
